It depends, part time usually not, its at the commanders disgression you can face discharge. Full time soldiers, court martial, loss of rank and possible correctional confinement / restriction to unit barracks and even discharge or both.

Usually one weekend a month and two weeks a year. Unless you are called up. Then it lasts until you are released.
