So, where did the universe come from, do you think? Science talks about the "Big Bang". What is the Big Bang? You believe in Science, right?

I don't know. A common misconception is to think the big bang is the very beginning of our universe. In fact, the BB theory does not say that at all. Science doesn't know if there was something before. The big bang is only a brief moment when the universe was very hot and dense.

What was hot and dense?

The universe. Or rather its matter.

The entire matter of the universe was submitted to very very high temperature and pression for a brief moment.

Yes, but where did it all come from?

But you admit you don't know where this matter comes from

That's a loaded question. Maybe it was there all along, and wasn't "created" at all.

So, you agree that uncertainty about something's origin is not proof of its non-existence?

Stating that would be silly.

Why?

If we can witness something's existence, the fact that we don't know from where it came from cannot undermine the fact of its existence. I'm not sure this is a correct English sentence, sorry if it isn't.
