I am not an economist and I don't even play one on TV. Reports of a stabilized economy in the face of looming tariffs has less to do with consumer confidence as much as folks deliberately stocking up on items prior to tariffs going into effect. I know restaurants and small shops are doing this.

I'm not an economist either. But I think it is also a testament to the strength that had accumulated under Biden's administration and under guidance of J Powell and the rest of the Federal Reserve Board.

Exactly- and the fallout from tariffs won’t be shown in the numbers until if and when Frumpy stops messing with the rates. And then it may take 1-2 years.
