As someone who makes over $120,000, I think you're being too generous to such people. I don't consider myself working class because I get a salary and health benefits, but I'm also trying to spend at least an hour two days a week before I go to work participating in a local ICE patrol.

I'm not seeing anyone else making over $120,000 a year out here, man. People at work don't talk about what is going on. People like me shouldn't be considered working class unless they step up somehow.

Unfortunately, I'm probably more petty bourgeois than anything. That's isn't an excuse for not helping your neighbors.
