They refuse to believe Nintendo allowed this and the show is so bad to avoid copyright claims. I’m gonna make them watch the old Mario Bros. movie sometime just so they can see how low it goes.

I legit enjoyed the Mario Bros movie as a kid. That show, on the other hand, was bad by pretty much every objective and subjective measure.
