Since the time of the Reagan administration, Republicans have been bold and unapologetic in their bigotry, love for money over the people they’re elected to represent, and their efforts to undermine the Constitution. It’s time for us to be just as bold and unapologetic in our efforts to create equity, protect the most vulnerable among us, eliminate poverty, and deliver tangible results for the people. It’s time to level the playing field. It’s time to reject a political system that is stacked in favor of those who are older, wealthier, and white. It’s time to uplift and elect everyday leaders who truly represent their communities.
