Socialist history is far more complex than your comically villainous caricature of it. like Samora mentioned, we can learn from both the good and the bad, there is no reason to repeat mistakes of the past while building communism. No socialist advocate for "small group of people" in charge.

You seem to have this profoundly ignorant caricature of how revolutionary wars form. there isn't some general with an army out of the blue. Socialism develops by people physically creating locally controlled councils. If there is an army of people to defend it, its because they want to defend that.
