I think the effort it takes to explain the difference between good communism and bad communism to a Western audience is not worth the return on investment, in terms of what is achievable towards the end goal of equality. I think the Bernie Sanders style of messaging is more likely to win people

I agree about effort to explain, but I believe that the reason for that is that we are fighting propaganda. I no longer believe welfare concessions within capitalism are sustainable. The power is still concentrated, but the people just got thrown a few bones, which can easily be lost again.
