Actually, once you got to know Artie, you'd recognize that as the look of intensely focused, Xanatos-like scheming. I tease her about her intelligence because She Is A Small Cat, but when she wants to, she has the cunning of a supervillain and outsmarts Food Lady and me on the regular. 😅
I'm still halfway convinced that the multi-year drama with her getting herself recurringly stuck in that neighbor's attic was a 100% calculated multi-stage scheme to go from That Cat Who Hangs Around to Our Cat Who Lives Here without ever giving us any actual choice in the matter. 😅
