I don't drive; I've never had a license (beyond a Learner's Permit). The subways and buses do, indeed, reach a LOT of places. The traffic in some parts of Manhattan can get especially congested.

Yeah I'm over 40 and ever needed it due to public transport being decent in Europe. Sadly I moved to Ireland, and I really need it... Fucking big suburbia
