Pity that the Russians had time to escape. 😎

The ammunition "cooked off" from the heat of the fire. Thus time to escape. That's typical of a drone strike. It's one reason I like Javelin strikes. They instantly detonate enemy ammunition.

The cost of a Javelin missile is about $240,000, the cost of an FPV drone about $300. It is always nice when Orks are toasted but, with a crew of 4 in a Nona, it would cost $59,925 to toast each crew member. Putin can replace the meat for far less.

You are right. Army must make choices. Is it worth to use a missile to shoot down a drone? Maybe "no", but if the drone hits strategic infrastructure the cost may be much, much more than the price of one missile. So, what to do when drone is noticed on radar and you are short of missiles?👀

And then, if your enemy is shooting down your missiles or drones with their expensive missiles to save their even more expensive infrastructure what do you do? Send decoys … youtu.be/B5e-HQDI-_8?...

Absolutely. That makes things even harder. Wrong choice is expensive in any case.

I agree. Javelins are more effective because they really penetrate into he tank and blows it up in a second. Same happens often with direct hits of artillery.

Yeah! Drones will pick them up later. 👍
