I generally don't understand that a big economic area like EU acts like a banana republic and is afraid of everyone. AI: In 2024, US had the largest GDP at approximately $29.18 trillion, followed by EU at around $17.9 trillion and China at approximately $18.4 trillion. Russia's GDP $2.41 trillion.

Because EU has made itself so dependent in making world better place and displacing many industries to e.g. China for cost reasons. Cost issues but no consideration for dependencies or geopolitics.

Yes and all polluting industries like chemicals is dependent on China. This is like a industrial museum. Just a few week ago Dow informed it will close 3 chemical plants in Europe and probably produce in China instead. Pharmaceuticals and drug manufacturing chemicals, totally dependent on China 🤡

So much for insourcing strategic manufacturing to the US, or just Dow knowing what tariffs Trump Inc. will impose next on the EU...

You are right. Hope EU can do better than so far. It has all the means for that. Only thing that seems to lack is a little extra courage.
