I agree. Trump is still trying to "make a quick deal" which does not work in challenging peace processes. I have also been supporting the idea that Nobel Committee should reject Trump in beforehand because his negative deeds towards democracy and many different international organizations.

I think it should use the leverage it has to the hilt. I think this is a contributing reason to why these prices were created in the first place. They are the breadcrumbs terrible people need to do the right thing. Because they simply can't tell good from bad.
The prizes have often been created by terrible people who want to buy their name some lasting fame after their death, or because they later in life realized they had been terrible people, who now want to make amends. The effect is that narcissists are attracted to the prizes as moths.
