All my life, from when I first began to read The Pawhuska Journal-Capital, to listening to news on the radio, and then television, I have believed in and respected the press. No longer. Only a few journalists. Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O'Donnell. A couple more.
I have switched entirely to independent journalists, and I vet those very carefully. It's sure getting harder and harder.
My Father in law was a newspaper man in the old days. He would be mortified to see what it’s become. It was always about truth in his day.

I miss integrity in journalism. The profession needs a code similar to the Hippocratic oath.
