Don't read this wrong when I say, I didn't want to end my life this way. I'm not going anywhere until it's time but at 81, with most Paynes taking the bus at 85, the end's in view. I mean that I expected to see my country like I was dumb enough to believe it was instead of this shithole it's become.
I too had hoped to not have this type of struggle in old age. Staying healthy and housed is enough of a challenge. But if the arc of the universe bends towards justice we’ve just gotta admit we’re in a shitty part of it. And it’s way too long..

I feel your pain. My wife and I retired last summer with plans for a peaceful retirement in our gardens. Now we have to spend time every day fighting these evil bastards. BTW our bus tickets are punched for the same age, 85.
