I'm skeptical that you can provide *any* evidence that she said anything like that, and in fact she never effectively countered her ill-considered 2020 stance supporting trans surgery for incarcerated illegals.

Is it ill considered to give people health care? What harris failed trans people on is her absolute inability to have a concrete stance. She could have just pointed out that all the attacks on trans people was an obvious distraction from real issues but instead she just tried to be smug about it

No most of her actions prior to 2024 were fairly positive including your example. But while running, she barely touted her past as AG and chose to offer almost no substantive platform regarding trans rights. That lethargy amidst Trump’s fear mongering, fascist rhetoric didn’t work out well for her.
