First Amendment is meaningless if 6-3 conservative SC majority won't stand up for it.

The tainting of the SC makes me want to end the lifetime appointment… I always thought the lifetime appointment just seemed wrong.

the lifetime appointment was intended to make judges hard to influence... but the same thing could be accomplished with appointments of, say, 20 years.
