It's actually that 1/3 of the country fully supports his bullshit. If he wasn't supporting by at least 80 million people and likely much, much more, he would be gone. But the neanderthals love it.
There are a lot fewer 'neanderthals' out there than you think. Many were deluded into thinking that trump would only deport the "criminals." Some bought his line about 'peace' in the Middle East (frankly that's mostly the fault of the Democrats. They left that lane open for him).
Still, the one thing we absolutely KNEW about him was that he wouldn't leave office peacefully. That means they KNEW he was willing to negate the votes of those who did not support him. No economy or peace in Middle East or deporting criminals twaddle can counterbalance that knowledge.
Americans are notoriously aphasic. Twenty yrs might as well be 1000. Social media makes our collective aphasia worse. Considering how little the Democrats' brought up the attempted coup during the campaign; while I am surprised it wasn't a factor, it being back-burned does track.
Now would be the time for California to withhold sending that same amount to Federal Treasury. Let's use our money and not give it to them. Finish the projects on our own.
