Surely it's a good thing that people change their mind on this. Sneering at them for coming round will likely make it harder for others to publicly change their position and ultimately prolong Palestinian suffering. We should be praising those who make the change to help bring others with them.

Real statehood is not given; it is built. It requires leadership, law, and unity. Yet today, Palestine is deeply divided. A sane, Arab nation needs to step in. Help them dismantle the tunnels & build and grow. Understanding Jordan, Lebanon & Egypt have been burned in the past, but it’s a new era.
Time for Hamas to surrender. Stop hiding the tunnels, while ordinary Palestinians are being forced to deal with the brunt of the conflict above ground. Hamas like any other terrorist group doesn’t care about innocent people. Israel will see this war through. Anything less invites the next one.

It sucks that they're so late to arriving at the right position, but let's focus our ire on the people who still support Israel's crimes. If we blast people who change their minds, we make it less likely that others will change their minds.
This is silly. We shouldn't help them whitewash their complicity in warcrimes and genocide. They deserve to own that shame for the rest of their lives and never be allowed to live it down.
If you believe that shaming politicians who were late to getting to the right position is more important than ending the suffering in Gaza, that is your right.

Suppose there's a MOC who has previously stood behind Israel no matter what, but is now wavering and considering a change. And suppose they see people on the left blasting their colleagues who changed (along with people on the right). That will make them more likely to continue supporting Israel.
I don't disagree entirely. But I don't think it's a significant portion of people. For people who were genuinely supporting the genocide for non financial reasons, true. Most of them support purely out of self betterment though. The remainder, per Leon Festinger, likely will go down with the ship
It's probably not a ton of people, but Gaza will continue to suffer until enough people stop giving Israel carte blanche. And the more that switch, the more that others will feel pressure to switch... unless we go after the ones that do switch, which will remove any pressure.
I think a lot of this continuing to have as much support as it has in Congress is actually largely due to Epstein, oddly enough. Ghislaine Maxwell's father was the owner of a very powerful newspaper in Israel and worked closely with the Israeli government. That opened the door for his daughter 1/2

Netanyahu has weaponized starvation, which is a grave violation of international humanitarian law and is considered a war crime. The US has looked the other way for far too long. It is time the US demanded that Netanyahu end this deprivation of food, water, medicine, and other essential supplies.

I think the fact that most all of us have continuously been not a fan of murdering children for several years now. Right now Gaza is home to the most children with amputations worldwide per capita
Centrist Dems have absolutely no sense yet of how much Biden’s signing off on every Netanyahu atrocity in Gaza flushed the party’s moral standing with its base. I’ve voted Dem for 30+ years and nearly stayed home on election day. Going forward, they have no margin for further cowardice.
