All those people — 25,000! — ready to fight, ready to march, ready for anything... ...and the speakers quietly told stories. ...sang some songs they wrote. ...sucked the fight right out of us by making us stand silently and listen, instead of bringing us into the struggle. We too, need leadership.
Sorry, looking at all the folks it looked more like "I showed up" and that is the MOST you will get out of them. No energy. Half looked like they were ready to fall asleep. NO TEETH. Media didn't pay attention and neither did MAGA. IF they did, there would have been armored police and firehoses.
That is absolutely not the most you will get out of them. They (we) just don't know how to move forward. We've elected leaders to take this on, and instead we have Schumer saying "we'll get 'em in the midterms!". So we look locally, trying to engage. And they were dull and self-centered.
If people keep waiting for people to tell them what to do then nothing gets done.
