Hamas launched 4,300 rockets, killed 1,195 people — including 736 civilians, 38 children, and 79 foreigners — and took more than 250 hostages, many of whom died in captivity, some of whom are still being held amidst allegations of being tortured and raped.

I can support the existence of a Palestinian state and still detest what Hamas did. I can aver that Israel has a right to exist without condoning Netanyahu's vile and violent strategies to stay out of jail. And I can say that America has a right to exist, and still despise its current president.
