Seeing THE ROSES tonight. I have almost no memory of the Danny DeVito version except she bites his penis and I had to ask what happened. That's how long ago I saw it. I assume this is fine.

The original was my first experience with dark comedy. It was labeled as such, but as the ending got darker and darker I kept waiting for the part that would turn it around. And I walked out of the theater convinced that they had forgot to put the last reel on :)
