A group of people at uni were going to meet up on the Union steps on 1 January 2000. Really. I wonder if any of them ever did.

I was supposed to be there by 7pm but at 7.30 I was still in London. Adult me was somehow now living in a hall of residence - with other people my age - and all the showers were in use.
