The whole controversy surrounding mail-in voting is idiots who have never voted by mail thinking that it’s no more sophisticated than sticking a ballot in an envelope and adding a stamp.

I live in Oregon where a significant number of our home grown RWNJs—people born and raised in rural Oregon—are actively working to overturn vote by mail. It’s nothing to do with not experiencing vote by mail and everything to do with gargling Trump’s talking points like they were his balls.

Seriously. Utah was the first state to have it and the first state to get rid of it, and they only did that because of the dumb conspiracy theories. Our ballots are so long so much of the time that it doesn’t even make sense to vote in person!

It’s insane. It’s literally bonkers. These same people didn’t have a negatuve thing to say about mail voting until Mango Mussolini started campaigning against it in 2020. I actually watched right wing friends say we should be voting in person in Oregon. They have no brains of their own.
