Me trying to look up information on which version of Sonic 06 runs better and then all the results are just like “don’t even play the game” real helpful internet, real helpful. /s

I think the ps3 version ? Dunno if there's a significant difference between versions tbh

I've played it on PS3 and from what I remember, it ran fine. I think there were a few slow downs but it's been too long since I've last played it
Sticker Star taught me to never trust the general consensus on a game and to always form my own opinion about media, which is exactly what I want to do with 06. I’ve seen gameplay of it and it honestly looks pretty fun in my opinion.
from my own experience 06 is insanely clunky, the general gameplay can be fun (specially if you alteady like adventure stuff) but ultimately becomes irritating when you feel like at any point the game will screw up and make you repeat stuff I think the 360 ver is the most stable?
I think someone already made this comparison but think how unleashed is insanely punishing to the point it becomes more frustrating than fun near the end, except the game isnt designed around it cause the frustration comes from glitches rather than level design
Unfortunately I've never played Unleashed either, it and 06 are like the big two I really want to play.
Sticker Star was a really interesting game, yeah, I almost considered trying to write a paper about it. One thing about it that struck out to me was how worlds 1 and 2 felt like they were rushed last minute compared to (most) later ones, and that's not how it typically goes.
Honestly I didn't notice anything in the game feeling rushed. I found nearly the entire thing an incredibly fun game to play and the only things I would consider flaws are more creative decisions I don't agree with like Bowser not talking.
My playthrough isn't fresh in memory and I don't have a working 3DS anymore, but the whole thing felt like they really wanted to do a Sierra or Lucasarts style inventory puzzle adventure game (via specific weakness stickers) but were kinda shackled by Mario RPG expectations and mechanics.
