That one is easier, dairy/beef prices have been going goofy, external stuff is a part of that goofiness, since screw worm has hit Mexico, and we REALLY want to keep it outside the U.S., so that's a lot of cattle we'd import that we won't. www.farmprogress.com/dairy-cattle...

So, I'm disinclined to go with that logic as sound as it is. I now use the Covid comparison. Remember when, during covid, prices were down? It's not like they can't. They just don't want to. Living in the US is like living in a perpetual casino; the house ALWAYS wins.
