Asian countries like South Korea and Japan were immensely successful bc they took masking and contact tracing very seriously

My understanding via @lunaoi.bsky.social is that COVID is basically Not A Thing you need to worry about in Vietnam anymore. They have protocols to test & monitor people entering the country to keep it that way.

Just sort this by deaths per 1M population. www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ The US wasn't the worst, but there were only 13 countries that did worse.
