Because they realize they were lied to about deeply unpopular issues like cutting Medicaid. (Although they don’t seem to be able to take the next step and realize they were lied to about many, many other things. Or they’re just very, very self-centered and only care when they’re affected.)
Oh, it's totally the self-centered thing. That, and misplaced religious fervor. I am an Alabamian. I live, even love some of these people, but they can't let go of the camps they've chosen. They're finding out, however. Some of them anyway.
Yes, same here. Except I’m not seeing any of them wake up. I gave up on that finally. They always find a way to spin what HE and the GOP does. It is insanity. I can’t think of any other way to describe it.
