Dramatically cutting Medicaid is going to impact whole families. Medicaid provides about 2/3 of the funding for folks in nursing homes. This will make it even more difficult for those who take care of their parents. STOP THE CUTS.

Its Much worse: Public nursing homes are underfunded and understaffed. This Means a lack of service hours for Patients.. meaning people laying in their own excrement longer, people going without proper cares, Increased bed sores ( costly and deadly) and people being dehydrated= DEATHS.. CUTS= DEATHS

It's passive eugenics. Cut funding for social assistance programs. Refuse to build affordable or low-income housing. Deny workers a living wage. Gut healthcare for the needy. Close rural hospitals and nursing homes because of a lack of funding. They are culling the herd.

We also need more support/funding for other programs that help elders. My mom doesn't qualify for Medicaid but can't afford a lot of programs that would help her. We tried to sign her up for Meals on Wheels & they said she'd have to pay 80% of the cost, which is outside her budget on Social Security
