The display Spire lives on top of Harrow the laser now.

A large laser with a dice lamp on top.

Where does the exhaust vent?

There’s a big tube in the back that goes out a hole we put in the wall into the utility room, where it goes out a second dryer vent in the back of the house!

Nice! Clean. Our laser's up against an outside wall, and it vents through a hole I made in a dog door (that came with the house). I created a large 3D printed blast gate for the door, so we can close it up as needed. But it's a 6" vent, and I couldn't find a prefab version. That's a sweet laser, btw

That’s a good solution too, I love the use of the dog door! I love my laser! She’s an upgrade from the glowforge I started with.

Ours (I say ours, but it's really my wife's) is an old somewhat modified K40. Not quite as glamourous. But she loves it, and that's what matters. Before I got the CNC, all things 2D were her domain. She's really good with 2D design. I think better in 3D (so my domain is more on the CAD side).
