I'm not unpetty enough not to have bellylaughed when I learned who the hosts were. I feel bad for the nominees tho. I'm used to people butchering my other name on the daily (and pretty forgiving), but for formal/public events? Super basic etiquette. 😬
I have a close friend with a very multisyllabic, very Scottish name who lived in Taiwan for 7 years. She can tell you stories. Another who lived in a Central European country and it's amazing how "Cooper" can morph into "Tsoperova". FOR AN AWARDS SHOW THO. 🤦
