Unless they could get a hand truck and wheel him out I'm not sure they're confident he could make it out that far and back in front of those cameras it's a weirdly crowded place to do it if it's not for...that kind of reason

I was just outside- it’s objectively a nice day today in DC. Sunny skies, mid 70s. Not even humid!

It's legitimately perfect weather for anything outside. It'd even make for better visuals/photo ops! There's no reason to not be outside rn. Except, y'know.
