Non lethal - that a component is benign. A product with a component that will kill - is designed, marketed & installed - with that purpose - intentionally. Endorsing such a product gives agency to the end game - literally in this scenario - is complicity.

I supply a non lethal part to the Bushmasters. I supply the plastic knob that’s used as the heater control. True story, but I don’t think any parts in a fighter jet are not critical to the functioning of a jet designed to kill. You don’t put any extra weight in a plane unless it has a reason.
