So I don't normally seek out Sabrina. I don't turn it off if she comes on but I have never in my life gone looking for one of her songs. Do I need to listen to MBF or can I just let this one float by me?

As someone who doesn't actively seek out her music either, it's probably not going to wow you. I'd say let it float by, unless the album piqued your curiosity in some fashion. I made it like 5 and a half songs in and nothing is sticking out for me.

TBF, I’m not a super duper pop girly outside of my holy trinity: Taylor, Kesha, and Gaga. I liked the atmosphere and it really reminded me of the late 80s, early 90s. Solid Friday vibeage. Nothing went in my likes, but I’m not exactly the target audience! Have you heard the new Deftones tho?

Oh it’s so good!! I’ve even tried to have a nap to it and it was perfect. (That’s my barometer for Deftones albums - if they’re good for a “Deftones nap” they’re five stars lol) One thing I gotta say, I didn’t find my fave song on MBF but that girl is so witty and funny!

Nailed it! Windows were down and B had her head out the window... It was a sweet summer vibe! My kiddo is similar in that he will listen to an album all the way through so intently. He has taught me the 1 min rule. Every new song gets 1 minute of ear time. Hasn't been wrong yet.

I am mostly the same but I'm on my second listen of Man's Best Friend rn. I feel like you could definitely let it float by but I actually like the first 2/3 as a kind of continuous narrative/theme. I'm not really sure how I'd pick singles from this but it's fun to listen to together.

like...if you are going to spend time on it I'd suggest just listening to the whole thing to hear the songs in order because I don't think the same songs will hit universally for everyone but they all hold together on a theme
