I agree. I care about the past victims. I care about the current victims. At some point, it occurred to me that these men who enjoyed hurting children might still be hurting children. I confess that I have a sliver of concern for the men, too. Were some framed? In any case, some will die.

Simple ethical, appropriate, Rule of Law response: If the files show criminality (abuse, rape, trafficking of minors; child pornography; etc), then investigate and prosecute.
