The difference between Texas Democrats leaving the state and House Republicans fleeing D.C. is a perfect example of what separates the two parties.

Integrity?
This is it!
This part.
Exactly intent matters. One stood for protecting voting rights, the other seems more about avoiding accountability. The contrast couldn’t be clearer.
Spot on!
Great point made and I totally agree!!👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
One was a courageous effort by a minority party to protect voting rights. The other was a cowardly move by a majority party to shut down Congress and avoid a vote on releasing the Epstein files. It's a clear choice between fighting for democracy and hiding from accountability.
Democracy is simply not a popular notion among elected Republicans. It is a slippery slope -- support democracy and pretty soon, you are supporting all sorts of things, like the 1st, 4th, 5th, and 14th amendments, all of which could get in the way of GOP authoritarian power. It is about choices.
Amen!
Texans should be REALLY grate flu. So proud of those Dems.
And Abbott wants to hit them with “bribery” charges for accepting meals and lodging in Illinois? Good lord! WE the People are PAYING the DC Republicans for their lengthy VACATION!!😡WTF?!?!?
