Having served on the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Council and the President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities, I can tell you that state control of historical narrative is a bright red line.

If we cant pressure them directly maybe we can pressure moderate forces in society that are refusing to pressure them. It is all of civil society sitting on its hands and worrying about money loses if they say anything that allows this (like the head of Apple openly bribing Trump)

We always have leverage, if there were enough people opposed, Apple could worry about losing customers (like Tesla) more than tariffs... and if Apple is too big, then smaller companies that cater to progressives could be pressured (even just to start breaking the silence)
