Other countries have crime and mental health challenges. What they don’t have is more guns than people. Only America has that. Enough with the excuses. It’s the guns.

I believe mental health plays a much larger role (it's far from "just guns"). Nearly every household in Switzerland has military grade weapons in its closets (military service is mandatory and, once completed, they become permanent "reserves"). They don't have our mass shooter problem.

Guns, mental health, poverty, inadequate mental healthcare, normalization, lobbying by the NRA, etc. etc. The list goes on. But here's the thing: removing only one of those things (the guns) drastically reduces the number of school shootings. Remove the guns while we address the rest.
