I second all of that. No matter what issue you have with a yapping pet or whatever, there's no excuse to abuse them! A much longer prison sentence might just save someone's life. How do we know he won't target a human next?

They apparently released the guy pending his trial. I'm thinking his friend will have something to say to him. If someone did this to a pet of mine, I would probably end up in prison.
