Just got a notice from my private alma mater that their director of campus security gave info on a protestor to the FBI without a warrant and they're now suspended for investigation. This fits with what I saw 20 years ago, glad they still have the students' backs.

Back in my day it was the War on Drugs. Local police and Feds didn't like the school's policy of "if something goes wrong we want people worried about getting help rather than getting in trouble" and we had a few standoffs where they backed the words up with action.
