Names, either for characters or for locations or for bars/ pubs/ taverns etc.

What do you mean by one-word information? I can speak to a myriad of things which could be useful to provide generation tools for on the fly, but even if I were to sum them up in one word its gonna be dependent on genre/tone/vibe. "Food" is probably the most broadly applicable one for nuanced use.

Food, names of people and places, weather, those sorts of things. Anything that might be useful to the GM/player in the moment.

Those sort of broad ubiquities need to be tailored otherwise they enter into free association model issues. Lest food just be mutton and mead, or weather just be sunny or stormy. If the issue has a theme, probably easy to narrow it down and have a more evocative expression on the output.

This is my special interest and focus within the industry proper, so I can likely speak to unhelpful lengths about it all to anyone not so similarly infatuated with the concept. But food is always useful. Rations, doubly-so. I've made ample ration tables in my day. The research behind it is wild.
