Those two are civilian police, not military.
How can anyone tell the difference these days?
They started laterally transferring military equipment to civilian police a few years ago IIRC. Probably to condition everyone to accept and ignore the presence of it when it came time for him (Trump) to violate the 2nd Amendment, Posse Comitatus and everything else he is currently in violation of.
Doesn't really matter who they are. It's the look of who America has become in the eyes of the world.
In the broader context, you're correct. In the current context of this post, it's important to point out the difference.
Civilian police set an extremely dangerous precedent for our armed forces by wearing our uniforms and using our equipment to do things the military isn't allowed to do. Civilians aren't going to be able to tell the difference and it may end up that frustration with civilian police will be taken /1

who are actively depriving citizens and non-citizens alike of their Constitutional Rights. Most likely why Trump fired all JAG/TDS personnel that handle the legality of orders and civil rights that are in the military back in week 1 or 2 of the current term... We're still not mass protesting. 😞
