Police should be held accountable. No more taxpayers footing the bill for lawsuits. It must come out of their pockets or their pensions. This will make them weed out bad actors.

The police and sheriff's assisting ICE have taken a huge fall from grace, and have lost the trust they supposedly cared so much about before the huge payouts from DHS became a factor. They are no longer worthy of the "Protect and Serve" slogan..should be "Stop and Seize" or "Harass and Handcuff".

When police departments have enough money to buy military grade/stock weapons, clothing and transport, they have too much money and the very fact that want no independent oversight tells you everything you need to know. Absolute authority corrupts absolutely.
