I just read this to my wife. We'd gotten to know Stacy (and her sig-other/stellar guitarist, Mark Stewart) via attending coffeehouse gigs in Ashland City, where she lived at the time. Remember that baby boy she had to leave behind? They reunited (!) when he was 14ish, and he moved up here! ❤️

I first came across her at a bar in Wakefield, Quebec. She often played in Ottawa and the surrounding area. We’ve been lucky to have Steve come quite often as well. (The sad song she wrote about that, my girlfriend and I would cry when she sang it.) Thanks for the memories.
