Lawyers often get a bad rap but universe bless these ones that are fighting for these kids.
I think Ensign has mastered the ability to represent his client while deliberately avoiding knowledge of what his client/employer is doing, especially, avoiding knowledge of things that would get him fired should he speak them in court
Maybe, but also in my personal experience as a government lawyer, agencies also just do stuff and don't tell you about it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
There are probably a half dozen different DoJ/DHS entities doing things here and somehow there is only one lawyer representing them It's a pretty good way to have things happen that can be explained as "first I've heard of it Your Honor"
I’m starting to watch for that tipping point where they arrest people for trying to resign. They have to be feeling the loss of talent.
I'm sure they are, but not sure what they could arrest them for and it's not like if you do they're going to keep working for you?
Oh, and it will be document offenses. Every accusation is a confession.
Yeah, it will be an attempt to frighten other people into staying, and like most of the toxic leadership policies they adopt, it will backfire spectacularly. I’m still more than half expecting it any day now.
