I think I’ll need to write about this. But guys, I’ve loved them since 1994–I was 10 years old. They are the soundtrack to my life. How often does a dream this big come true after assuming it never could. They broke up almost 20 years ago. This is a music miracle, just can’t believe it.
I was lucky enough to have the same kind of experience with The Police--they broke up when I was 14 or so, and due to various teenage misunderstandings I missed their 1986 reunion while many of my friends got to go. I made certain to see their 2003-era reunion. I wish you all the fun you need! :)
I need a lot of it lol. I’m so glad you got the see The Police, love them. It’s so hard when they break up, you just never know what’s going to happen.
You are going to have a great time. I saw them way back when, right before “What’s The Story…” came out. So much friction right there on the stage, but still a really great show. For all the complaints about their attitudes at the time they were undeniably channeling something special.
