Oh, I disagree. There’s fantastic Mexican food in Durham. But good flour tortillas are a gap, b/c most Sonorans just stay in Arizona :)

La Vaquita, Super Taqueria, Los Comales (RIP). Also the truck parked across Lakewood from Compare (I forget what it’s called.)

Yeah La Vaquita is pretty good. Probably the best in Durham. I wouldn't call it *great* though. And the wait was always ridiculous. Everywhere I lived in California (10+ places) had better Mexican within walking distance. I'm being that annoying California guy right now lol. Apologies.
