Mamdani has the best platform of any democrat in recent memory and holding him to the purity test that he isn’t leftist enough is insane behavior. If he turns into another Fetterman then I shall have egg on my face, but considering what he’s advocating for I believe he is different.

I’m not advocating for him betraying his base. However, progressives have a hard enough time getting elected in general so I think it’s reasonable that when he’s in front of a group of people he can’t just go full ACAB especially after a shooting like this one. What do you want him to say?
