Hey at least you broke your toe honorably. I broke mine a few weeks ago just by walking barefoot around my house.

I was actually doing a very ridiculous warmup exercise called "shrimping" more than the real martial arts part π¬
My body is a rotating queue of pain and injury, mostly because I'm old. The last one was a torn ligament in the middle finger while training eye gouging. Let's say I crossed that technique out of my list of options.
How the hell did you manage to break a toe by shrimping? I cann... Ok, I see it.
Sir, shrimping is a fundamental form of movement in our art and must be done with grace.
The reason I always, always, always wear slippers around the house, even in hot weather, isn't because I'm an old fuddy duddy, but because about once a month I bang the edge of my foot against a table leg or door frame and realize "that would have been a broken toe for sure!" π
Yes I know, but I am really bad about it in warm months.
I used to be - until I broke my pinky toe π€£
And look at you, youβve not stopped walking around the house, a hero
Very kind of you to think so.
