Originally they were bred because the goats with this issue wouldn’t jump the fence. They also can’t run from danger and will easily get caught by predators. Now they are raised mostly for human entertainment. They should be banned from being bred in my opinion.

That's sad. To be suddenly paralyzed must be terrifying. It's even sadder that anyone would intentionally breed for a life-quality impacting handicap. (JFTR, That includes dogs and cats that can't breathe and/or can't give birth on their own.)
